Examination Rules

awrance Learning Lounge follows a transparent and well-defined examination system to ensure fair evaluation and academic discipline. The school conducts four Unit Tests and two Terminal Examinations each academic year.

The year is divided into two terms, April–September and October–March, and student performance is assessed through marks, which are converted into grades for each subject.

  • Academic year divided into two defined terms

  • Parents required to sign evaluated answer sheets
  • No re-test or postponement without valid medical reason
  • Illness cases assessed based on year-long performance
  • Final examination answer sheets not returned
  • Year-end results are final and not subject to reconsideration
  • Tampering with marks/grades will lead to serious action
  • Tests cannot be anticipated or postponed
  • Unwell students should not attend tests; results based on yearly work

TIMINGS

  • Students must be in their respective class rooms at 7:50 am before the first bell which is rung at 7:55 am. Late comers will be debarred from entering the school.

TURN OUT

  • Student should come to school neatly dressed well turned out and in proper school uniform.
  • Religious karas are allowed in school but should not exceed 3 mm in thickness and preferably rounded. Heavy / Thick karas may hurt another child inadvertently.
  • Children with ears pierced should wear very small drops at their own risk.
  • For non-turbaned boys a neat, short haircut is mandatory.
  • Girls with long hair must plait their hair.

DISCIPLINE

  • No Money collection will be made in the school without the sanction of the Principal.
  • Any kind of damage to school property will be made good by the student responsible for the damage done.
  • Students are not permitted to wear ornaments or bring Mobiles to school, nor use valuable wrist watches or stationery.
  • Students are expected to participate actively in all activities and programmes conducted in school.
  • Students are required to speak in English while in school, both in the class room and in the play-ground. It is recommended that there is certain amount of regular English conversation at home too.
  • Student are not permitted to drive motorized vehicle to school till Class X.
  • Senior Secondary Classes can bring two wheeler with helmet and valid driving licence whose copy will be submitted in the school.

TRANSPORT

  • Transport will be charged for 11 & 1/2 months for 2026-27 academic session.
  • One month's WRITTEN notice with the payment of fees is required if parents want to discontinue transport facility.

LEAVE

  • Partial leave of absence shall not be granted. Once the child attends school, he/she will not be allowed to leave early.
  • Format of leave application is included in the diary.
  • When a student is ill, a medical certificate must be submitted in the school.

VALUES

  • Honesty and sincerity in work, speech and action is imperative if the student is to continue in the institution.
  • Polite behaviour and gentleness in speech and manner is insisted upon at all times.
  • Use of Bad language or any violence in or outside the school shall result in the expulsion of the student concerned.

WITHDRAWAL

  • One month's WRITTEN notice with the payment of fees is required to be cleared, if parents want to withdraw their ward from the school.
  • Security amount is non-interest bearing and refundable under rules.
  • Refund if security Amount is due, can be claimed within six month only of student's leaving the school upon producing the original Admission receipt.
